Selling toilet paper?

Ummm, no, your product is not for everyone, unless you're selling toilet paper.
Knowing your customer is the first step towards serving them, serving them in a way that is useful, memorable and appreciated, in a way that gets you recommendations and repeat sales.
And it's not necessarily what they look like, or where they live, it is about how they feel, what they need, and what problem they share.
That's marketing 101 - and even toilet paper marketers have segmented their customers... go figure.
